The Beginning

My visa application has been sent off, including finger prints and photographs and everything to prove that I do not, in any way, have an intention of taking OVER THE WORLD - if only they new :) HA - HA (dramatic voice) ... "If only they knew" HA - HA (normal voice, no scary monkeys).

I am waiting impatiently for said visa to be approved in order for me to purchase appropriate ticket and be on my venture. At 24 I've no intention of settling down, settling into a career, buying a house... I want adventure, existence, damn-it... LIFE! So here I come the rest of the world.

Stay tuned to my adventure from "earth" as I know it... not the cows, the sheep or even the field mice of the farm... farm? FARM? Yes, indeed - I grew up on a farm, I have only just gone to Melbourne and Sydney (briefly) last year, my first terrifying experiences of aeroplanes... not really as terrifying as the helicopter my sometimes boyfriend took me on simply to prove the point that heights COULD indeed frighten me (as he was somewhat concerned that I didn't mind glimbing the tallest tree in WA... you see, my fear is more about not being contacted to land when at a height, not the height itself...) I've since discovered that if you believe the aeroplane is connected to the Earth by an enormous chopstick, all is well and fear is overcome... at the same time, you may potentially lose the respect of all you know.

At any rate, here I write in fear of NOT getting my visa, but excitement OF getting my visa. I wait impatiently to see where life / fate... or whatever is in existence will lead me.

Onward and acrossward, as I say ;)
